Gang video removed from YouTube, replaced with BPD patch

A gang rap video glorifying killing a Birmingham police officer has been pulled from YouTube. A tribute to the department replaced the video Saturday morning.The new video is a 30 second tribute to the Birmingham Police Department featuring the patch worn by every officer.The original three minute video was a tribute to Devante Hinds. It was laced with profanity and featured members of the GTO Gang, which has been linked to drug deals and robberies.Police say Hinds was shot and killed by a deputy near the Walmart on Parkway East May 9 after Hinds tried to run the deputy over.The original video gave police clear images of the gang members. They are still trying to locate them.
