      Governor Bentley's home broken into, items taken

      The Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to a burglar alarm call at Governor Robert Bentley's residence in Tuscaloosa at 11:53 pm on September 30.

      Upon arrival, officers observed that a suspect had made entry by force through a window and items were missing from the home, but officials did not disclose details regarding what exactly was stolen.

      The case is currently under investigation.
