Governor Bentley looking for more tornado relief money

Governor Bentley is in Washington this week, trying to get more money for tornado relief here in Alabama.

The Governor says he met with the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Wednesday. They discussed the Governor's concerns that HUD's formula caused hundreds of damaged or destroyed rental homes to be excluded from recovery assistance funding.

Bentely said he also wrote a letter to the President about the matter. He says HUD's rental formula caused exclusion of the Alberta area, which the President visited just after the April 27th storms.
