Governor Bentley offers support to everyone in Oklahoma

GovernorRobert Bentley issued a statementfollowing the deadly tornado that struck Oklahomaon Monday afternoon.

"Dianne and I are offering prayersof support for everyone in Oklahoma.{}The people of Alabamacan identify first-hand with those who have suffered such a devastatingloss.{} We understand how painful it is to lose friends, neighbors andloved ones. {}We understand the challenges of a massive recovery andrebuilding effort.{} We will stand with the people of Oklahoma in the coming days, weeks, monthsand years.

"My office has been in directcontact with Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin's office, and we are offeringwhatever assistance Alabamacan provide.{} The Alabama Emergency Management Agency is prepared tocoordinate any and all resources that may be requested by Oklahoma.

"Following the April 2011 tornadoes,people from other states showed tremendous compassion to Alabama.{} They helped us in our ownrebuilding.{} They volunteered their time and their resources.{} Theystood with us in prayer and support.{} Alabamastands ready to do the same for the people of Oklahoma."
