Governor's office issues $5,000 reward in homicide case

The Governor's office has issued a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in a homicide investigation in Birmingham.{} The incident happened back in July 2012 on Greensprings Highway.{} Police found 42-year-old Graylin Lewis inside his pickup truck suffering from a gunshot wound.{} The victim, who called officers on his cell phone, said he was robbed right before he was shot.{} He was rushed to UAB Hospital and later died from his injuries.{} No arrests have been made in the case.{} Crime Stoppers is offering an additional reward.{} If you have any information, call Birmingham Police Department's Homicide Unit at (205) 254-1764 or Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777.
