Grade changing investigation reveals "troubling" evidence
State Superintendent of Education Tommy Bice says he will be spending much of the Thanksgiving holiday going through investigation documents instead of spending his time off relaxing.
Bice says an investigation into grade-changing within the Montgomery school system has turned up significant evidence and he says that evidence is "troubling".
The investigation started after allegations of cheating within the school system. Employees say they saw administrators violating policy to help students get higher grades with little to no work. One data entry worker says she was written up after refusing to break the rules. School officials are not commenting on the allegations.
