Guard Thaddeus Rideau transferring out of UAB program
Thaddeus Rideau is leaving UAB.
The school announced that the junior guard has decided to transfer after one season with the Blazers.
"Thad always had a tremendous attitude and played an important role for us this past season," head coach Jerod Haase said in a statement. "We understand his desire to transfer and we wish him the best of luck."
Rideau played in 10 games last season and averaged 1.7 points a game.
He played his first two seasons at Brown Mackie College in Kansas and will have one year of eligibility remaining at his new school.
