Haircut-a-thon supports Ronald McDonald House Charities
BIRMINGHAM - AL —
Those who got a new hairdoSaturday also had the opportunity to donate to a special cause. Paul Mitchell XCell Academy and SportsClips salons all participated in the Third Annual "Shear Kindness"haircut-a-thon. The businesses donated a portion of their proceeds to theRonald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.
Ronald McDonald House provides temporary housing for sickor injured children and their families who must travel to Birmingham formedical care.
One-hundred percent of donations went to benefit the RonaldMcDonald House and to provide funding for the new Ronald McDonald family roomat DCH Regional Medical Center.
