Harper Lee Lawsuit

A lawsuit settlement has fallen apart between "To Kill a Mockingbird" author Harper Lee and a museum in her hometown of Monroeville.{} An attorney for Lee filed court papers Monday, seeking to reinstate a suit she that filed against the Monroe County Heritage Museum. In February a settlement was reached over the museum's use of Lee's name and book title on the souvenirs it sells.{} Lee's attorney says that the museum would not proceed with the settlement unless additional terms were added, which had not been agreed to by the parties involved. The judge in the case issued an order Tuesday saying that he needs to know whether a settlement agreement was signed. If it was,{} Lee must file a separate action to enforce it.
