Hayden man pleads guilty to shooting at airplane

{} {} A Blount County man admits that he fired his shotgun at an airplane as it was trying to land.

{} {} Jason McKay of Hayden{}pleaded guilty Thursday on charges of attempting to interfere with the authorized operation of an airplane. {}It happened when a restored world war two era biplane was landing at an air strip near his home. {}Mckay says he fired several shots to scare the people flying the plane.

{} {} He has apparently filed numerous complaints about airplanes flying over his house, while landing at Campbell Field. {}It's a private grass strip airport next to his home.

{} {} Mckay will be sentenced in January.
