Homecoming Week At The University of Alabama

It's homecoming week for the Crimson Tide. Fans, students and alumni are getting ready for the week filled with activities. This year's theme: "Leaving a Crimson Legacy." There will be several events planned this week.

On Tuesday, a basketball tournament will begin at 7 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center.{} LifeSouth will be conducting a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday. The blood drive will be held behind Gorgas Library or in room 301 of the Ferguson Center.

The annual homecoming pep rally and bonfire will be held Friday beginning at 7 p.m. on the Quad. The step show will also be Friday night beginning at 8 p.m. in Foster Auditorium.

The highlight of the week will be Saturday. The homecoming parade will begin at 7 a.m. The parade will proceed westward from UA campus to downtown. Kickoff for the homecoming game will be at 11:21 a.m. The Crimson Tide will take on Georgia State University.
