The Hoover Bucs anticipated season opener against Colquitt County (GA) is set for a national tape delay broadcast on ESPNU.
The game will be broadcast at 10 p.m. on Friday, August 30. The Bucs and Colquitt County play earlier that night at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
Colquitt County is coached by former Bucs coach Rush Propst.
Hoover has two games scheduled for ESPNU next season. The Bucs game against Tuscaloosa County on October 24 will be carried live beginning at 7 p.m.
Hoover won the Class 6A state title last season, which was the ninth state title in school history.
