Hoover detectives obtain arrest warrant for suspect in May bank robbery
Hoover detectives have identified Anthony Djuan Jackson of Memphis Tennessee as a suspect in the May 31, 2012 robbery of the BB&T bank at 1596 Montgomery Highway. In that robbery, a lone black male presented a note demanding money from the teller. He then fled in an unknown direction.
Thursday, a warrant for Robbery 1st Degree was obtained at the Jefferson County District Attorney's office.
Jackson is currently in jail in Memphis on aggravated assault charges, and he is a supsect in at least 8 other bank robberies in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, and Illinois. Hoover detectives are working with officers in those agencies to help determine Jackson's involvment in those cases.
