Hoover police arrest 3rd teen in Ross Bridge burglaries

HOOVER, Alabama - Police have made a third arrest in connection with a string of burglaries in the Ross Bridge community last week.

Adam Demond Andrews, 18, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon in the 6400 block of Division Avenue in Birmingham, Hoover police said. Andrews, who's the third teen to be arrested in the case, is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and two counts of first-degree theft or property. His bond has been set at $400,000 as he awaits transfer to the Jefferson County Jail.

Elijah Robtez Gaines, 19, of Lipscomb, and Marvin Tito Blevins Jr., 18, of Bessemer, were arrested last week, and they currently remain in the county jail.
