By Roy Wood
Hoover police responded to a domestic violence call early this morning at 3262 Warringwood Drive. A female caller reported a physical altercation between her and her husband. When officers arrived they found the victim shot once in the head. A witness reported seeing the victim's husband, Brian Darnell Epps, fleeing the scene on foot. The victim, 29 year old Rashon Deidrenette Bester Epps, was transported to UAB hospital where she was pronounced dead. Detectives have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Brian Darnell Epps. He is charged with Capital Murder with No Bond. The Capital Murder charge stems from the victim being currently pregnant. Epps is currently at-large and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts should immediately call 911. Epps has family and friends in the Eastlake area of Birmingham. Anyone who has contact with Epps should encourage him to immediately surrender to either the Hoover City Jail or the Jefferson County Jail in Downtown Birmingham.
