Hoover police: Help needed in identifying suspects in credit card-cloning scheme

HOOVER, Ala. -- The Hoover Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying four suspects in a large-scale credit card-cloning scheme.According to a release, the suspects are using stolen credit card information to produce clones or replicas of the cards, which they have allegedly used to make purchases around the city. Police said the thieves have racked up thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges at numerous locations.Anyone with information regarding the identities and/or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to please call Detective B. Massey at 205-444-7620. You can also submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
