Hoover Police investigate possible meth lab

Hoover, AL - Hoover Police arrest one man after finding components of a meth lab in his car.Captain James Coker of the Hoover Police Department says the man was asleep in his car in the parking lot of the Chevron gas station at 1301 Alford Avenue early Sunday morning. After police woke the man, a search of his car revealed several components that could be used for manufacturing methamphetamines.

The man was taken into custody and no formal charges have been filed as of yet. Police are still investigating the incident. ABC 33/40 will have more information as it becomes available.
