Investigation Begins After Man Falls Asleep In Street

Gadsden Police are asking questions after man falls asleep in the middle of a street.

Police were called to the 2400 block of East Broad Street around 9:01 p.m. last night. Officers arrived to find a 44-year-old year old man lying in the street. Police called medics to treat the man. They also found five Roxycodone pills in his pocket. The man told police he was walking home and did not remember falling asleep in the middle of the street.

The unidentified man was arrested without incident. The incident remains under investigation.
