Auburn's Jake Holland, Nosa Eguae and Ryan White to play in College All-Star Bowl

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) Three defensive players from national runner-up Auburn have committed to play in The College All-Star Bowl next month.

Bowl organizers said Thursday that Tigers starting defensive tackle Nose Eguae, starting linebacker Jake Holland and backup cornerback Ryan White will play in the contest Feb. 14th at Furman's Paladin Stadium.

Holland started 13 games for the Southeastern Conference champions, Eguae 12 and White two.

Others pledging to play in the bowl include tackle Kelvin Palmer of Baylor, guard John Martinez of Southern Cal and cornerback Typer Patmon of Oklahoma State.

The contest will feature two 50-man teams against each other. The Nationals team will be led by former Clemson coach Danny Ford, while the Americans team will be led by former South Carolina State coach Willie Jeffries.
