Cleveland Browns sign former AU quarterback Jason Campbell

The Cleveland Browns have added Jason Campbell to an already crowded quarterback position.

The former Auburn star received a two year free agent contract.

"Jason is an established leader who has started a number of games in this league and has had success," Browns coach Rob Chudzinski said in a statement. "He brings us a veteran presence and a good set of physical tools. He played in a similar system when he was in Oakland, and that will help in this transition."

Cleveland{}already has quarterbacks{}Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy under contract, but the franchise has one winning season in the last decade and hasn't made the playoffs in 11 years.

The Browns will be Campbell's fourth NFL team. He's also played for the Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders and Chicago{}Bears.
