JeffCo deputies investigate second armed robbery on Center Point Pkwy in as many days

A Dollar General was held up at gunpoint late Thursday.{} It happened just before 9:00p.m. at the discount store located in the 2300 block of Center Point Parkway.Chief Deputy Randy Christian said an employee told deputies she had been in the back of the store when a man wearing a bandana over his face approached her with a gun. The suspect ordered her to the front of the store to open the safe. Once the safe was open, the suspect took the money bag and ran out the back door. The employee was not injured in the robbery.{} You may remember, a Subway restaurant was held up Tuesday night just a short distance away, in the 2100 block of Center Point Parkway; however, Christian said the two crimes do not appear to be related.
