Jefferson County Sheriff shuts down Clay Chevron after raid

Jefferson County deputies raided{}the Clay Chevron gas station{}around 10:30 am Wednesday. They said a store employee- related to the owner- had been selling five-types of prescription drugs to customers.

Hien Thi Huynh, 33, of Inverness, is now in custody and charged with several counts of distribution of controlled substances.

The gas station on Old Springville Road is now closed. This is not the first time it's been raided - the brother of the woman in custody was charged with distribution of marijuana a year ago.{}

Sheriff Mike Hale and Clay Mayor Charles Webster were at the scene.
