Jogger assaulted, Tuscaloosa police investigating
TUSCALOOSA - AL —
Tuscaloosa police are looking for a man who assaulted a teenage jogger. She was able to give police a description of the man who attacked her at Sokol Park.
Police say a 17 year old reported being physically assaulted during a jog along a wooded trail at Sokol park around 10:45 Sunday morning. She was taken to DCH and was treated for minor injuries. Police say she was not sexually assaulted.
The teen described the assailant as a white man between the ages of 18 to 20. He is believed to be about 230 -240 lbs and 5'10 to 6 feet tall. He was wearing a blue and white T-shirt with a dark colored long sleeve shirt underneath.
