Judge delays sentencing for casino lobbyist; another defendant asks for delay in reporting to prison

A federal judge granted a delay in the last sentencing for the state's gambling corruption case.

Lobbyist Jennifer Pouncy will now be sentenced{}next month as opposed to August 29th.{} Pouncy pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy.

Country Crossing developer Ronnie Gilley is asking for a delay in reporting to prison.{} His attorney says his client has a recently discovered medical condition that calls for preparation time, surgery and recuperation that will extend beyond the August 27th report date.

Gilley faces almost seven years in prison for multiple bribery and money laundering charges.
