Police say Jones shot into a large crowd in the Birmingham park March 2013. Only one witness came forward. The 18 year old bonded out just hours before a hearing May 2013. But his bond was revoked in February after the judge found he had posted comments threatening the witness on Facebook.Earlier this year, the witness who identified Jones as the shooter recanted the statements. An attorney for Jones did try to get charges dropped and bond set. But the judge denied both motions.Jones remains in the Jefferson County jail without bond.
