Leeds couple could face prison after fatal dog attack

The Leeds couple who owned dogs responsible for the death of an elderly man has been charged.

Jerry and Jaqueline Lenton face up to 20 years in prison for manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide if they are convicted.

83 year old Donald Thomas was killed by two rottweillers in September as he checked his mail. Those dogs were killed on the scene.

The Lentons had more than 30 other dogs that were confiscated, and some have already been adopted.
