Little League Football team raises money for stolen equipment

A Birmingham radio station, 98.7 Kiss FM, helped raise money for a little league football team who had its equipment stolen. (

The items were stolen a few months before Christmas from the Pratt City parks field house. The coach says the thieves came through the opening where the air conditioning unit was and{}took everything.

Now, a local radio station is raising money to help get the Mustangs little league football team back on their feet.{} "We been out there struggling a long time and for this tragedy to happen. But God made it a blessing, so for this to happen, for the radio station to do what they're doing, its just amazing," says Coach James Williams.

The total amount of items lost were around $6,000. At 5 p.m. on Saturday, 98.7 Kiss FM raised $1,700.
