Long lines for beer on opening night at Regions Field

Regions Field came to life Wednesday night as thousands showed up to watch the Barons play at its new home in downtown Birmingham. But some say the brand new stadium had a few hiccups.

For instance, the audio going in and out during the national anthem. And the lines for food and beer. Some say they had to wait for up to 45 minutes.

"The beer line is pretty sad, it's really long and there's one poor soul who's serving and counting and giving out alcoholic beverages." says Lisa Williams.

Even though opening night had a few glitches, fans enjoyed watching their baseball team take down the Mississippi Braves 9-5 in the very first game at the new ballpark.
