Luke Bigham, former 'Talladega Nights' child actor, charged in fight with mom
TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama man who as a child acted in the movie "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" is charged with domestic violence after what police say was a fight with his mother. Luke Bigham, 20, was arrested Tuesday at his mother's home in Trussville, a suburb of Birmingham. Trussville Police Chief Don Sivley said the former child actor is accused of pushing his mother down the stairs. Bigham appeared in the 2006 comedy "Talladega Nights" as the 10-year-old version of Ricky Bobby, the movie's main character played by Will Ferrell. He is charged with third-degree domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Records show Bigham was also arrested in June on a warrant for reckless driving, also a misdemeanor. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
