AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn coach Gus Malzahn says he thinks his school's administration responded well to reports alleging misdeeds in the program going back to the 2010 national championship season.

He said nobody on the team was distracted by reports in ESPN The Magazine and alleging a coverup of synthetic marijuana use to changing a player's grade.

Asked about the reports after Saturday's scrimmage, Malzahn said "I feel good about the way they handled it."

Malzahn referred to statements issued by Auburn athletic director Jay Jacobs and declined to discuss the reports further.

Defensive end Nosa Egaue says players haven't talked about the reports. Defensive back Joshua Holsey says it hasn't been a distraction and the coaches haven't brought the reports up to the team.
