Man charged after barricading himself in a Pelham townhouse

The man connected to a standoff in Pelham is now facing multiple felony charges.{}

Wesley Adam Whitworth is charged with three counts of illegally possessing a credit or debit card, two counts of third degree burglary, and one count of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.

You may remember our exclusive scene video from Whitworth's arrest - On December 17th, Pelham Police told us while they tried to assist Homewood Police in serving a warrant, the suspect broke through the walls of several Cottage Circle townhome attics trying to escape.{}

He barricaded himself inside - and after a search, investigators found a firearm.{}His bond is set at $196,000.
