      Man charged with killing 2 Tuscaloosa women in New Year's Day crash indicted for murder in death of unborn child

      TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- A man charged with two counts of murder in a fatal New Year's Day accident that killed two Tuscaloosa women has been indicted by a grand jury on an additional count of murder for the death of an unborn child, who also died as a result of the crash.

      KiAnthony Davis, 22, has been jailed since Jan. 1 after surrendering to police several hours after he ran a red light while allegedly driving drunk on McFarland Boulevard, hitting a vehicle and killing 45-year-old Evelyn Page, 20-year-old Shakevia Washington and Washington's unborn child.

      The crash, which occurred around 3:30 a.m. as Davis and three of his friends traveled home from a New Year's Eve party, seriously injured a 22-year-old man.

      Davis remains in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
