Man stabbed at MAX Transit Authority station

Birmingham Police are investigating a stabbing at a MAX bus station.It happened Thursday morning just before 1:00 a.m. at the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority on Morris Avenue. One man was stabbed in the chest by an unknown suspect. Police say the victim had just dropped off his girlfriend at the station, and he was walking to his car when the suspect approached him. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, but there is no word on his condition.No one is in custody and police do not have suspect information to release at this time.
