Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcel Dareus will replace San Francisco 49ers' Justin Smith in the Pro Bowl.

It's Dareus' first trip to the NFL all-star game. He recorded a career high 71 tackles and 7.5 sacks for the Bills in 2013. He was one of five players to finish with more than 70 tackles and 7 sacks.

Buffalo selected Dareus out of Alabama with the third pick in the 2011 draft. He was the defensive MVP of the Tide's 2010 BCS Championship win over Texas and an All-SEC first team pick in his final season in college.

The Bills will have four defensive players in the Pro Bowl. Defensive tackle Kyle Williams, defensive end Mario Williams and safety Jairus Byrd earned a trip to Hawaii as well.

The NFL Pro Bowl is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 26.
