Matters of Faith Retail Therapy

Can a retail store really offer shop therapy? Recently I talked to three shop owners who believe... Their businesses are more of a ministry than a way to just feed their families.

{}These shop owners take time to do more than just help find an outfit for Saturday night. They take time to listen to their clients. And pretty soon their clients become friends.

AKA Girl's Stuff in Homewood offers trendy fashions as well as T-shirts and jewelry with images of crosses.

The owner Dee Tibbs... Says, she has counseled people who have had health problems, relationship problems, financial problems and more.

Her husband Joe is a pastor and says he takes special care with those in need.

{}He will stop an pray with people who are hurting.

Shopping at a huge store you might reap lower prices or better sales, but there is something to a mom and pop store that is good for the soul.
