U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers has won his 6th term in Washington D.C. represent{}U.S.{}House District 3 of Alabama. The Calhoun County republican beat democratic challenger John Andrew Harris convincingly. It was not a big surprise in the heavily republican district in east Alabama.{}Rep. Rogers says he expect to have{}a high profile role in the new congress. One of his top priorities will be protecting military jobs he believes could be at risk in the district.
