Missing 14-Year-Old case lead to sodomy arrest

A missing person case has developed into a sex crime arrest in Tuscaloosa. {}Tuscaloosa Police Department Juvenile Division arrested Corey Rashadi Ruffins, 19, and charged him with two counts of Sodomy 2nd Degree. {}Police say the arrests stems from a missing person case involving a 14-year-old male that was filed earlier in the month. The juvenile returned home. {}According to police reports, while investigators were questioning him and his family, they learned about the contact between him and the suspect.{}Officers with the Crime Suppression Unit located Ruffins and transported him to the Tuscaloosa Police Department for questioning. During the interview, Juvenile Investigators reportedly found probable cause to arrest him for two counts of Sodomy. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending a $30,000.00 Bond.{}
