Missing autistic Huntsville boy found dead
HUNTSVILLE - AL —
The body of a missing autistic child from Huntsville has been found.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office has confirmed deputies found eight-year-old Randle Barrow's body, Saturday night.
Huntsville Police are still investigating the fire at the Barrow home and 42-year-old Delicia Barrows' death.
Marshall County officials are now investigating Randle's death. Police pulled the child's body from the Tennessee River.
Fire fighters responded to the Barrow house in Huntsville, Saturday, after Huntsville Police were serving a welfare check after the boy had not been to school in two days. When officers arrived, they noticed the house was on fire. Inside, they found an unresponsive Delicia Barrow, who later died at a local hospital. Fire fighters noticed Randle was missing from the home.
"It's really sad," Lt. Dewayne McCarver said. "We kept our eyes open yesterday after that happened and then found out online this morning that he had been found out here."
