Just before 10:00 AM Thursday morning investigators received information that Tamika Lark was hiding at a residence in the 4900 block of Court G in Fairfield. Deputies and Fairfield Police Officers went to the address.{} They entered the home and found the home hiding in a bedroom.

Tamika Larson, of Birmingham, was arrested for two counts of interference with custody and taken to the Jefferson County Jail where she is being held on $30,000 bond.

On Sunday December 2, 2012 28 year old Tamika Lark was allowed to have a supervised visitation period wither children, one year old Destiny Seay and three year old Genesis Nelson, at the home of their father in the Eastern Valley area of Jefferson County. The father has custody of the children and the mother is allowed only supervised visitation. Their father could not be there for the visitation and had his brother supervise the visit. When the brother stepped out of the room Tamika took the children and left. This was a violation of the custody order and deputies immediately began looking for her and the children.
