A Montgomery police officer is out of a job after an internet video surfaced that shows him racing a department motorcycle.

Lawrence Lee Spillers captured the video, Sunday, with a camera attached to his motorcycle helmet.

While stopped at a red light, Spillers challenged the uniformed officer to a race.

When the light turned green, both men took off.

Police Chief Kevin Murphy says the officer's behavior is unacceptable. The officer might even face charges.

Spillers says the officer was just having a little fun and should not lose his job.
