More buying goods "Made in the USA"
The White House has warned all the uncertainty over the fiscal cliff could put a crimp in consumer spending next year and even this holiday season.
Speaking of spending, are you done with your Christmas shopping?
Do you ever look at the packaging to see where items are made? A new survey by the Boston Consulting Group found 80% of consumers are willing to pay more for certain products with a "Made in the USA" stamp.
A combination of factors is leading the trend, including patriotism, fear of danger in some goods produced in China, and a concern over quality.
A majority said their decision to pay more was a conscious one.
