More details emerge about suspect in Tuscaloosa missing person case

Alexius Foster

{}{}{} ABC 33/40 has learned that police searched in and around{}a house on 5th St North-East in Holt Friday.{}{} The{} home is only feet from Crescent Ridge Road where the victim Antonio Williams told his sister he was headed more than a week ago.

{}{} After police left the home Friday, they obtained a warrant and{}arrested Williams' own friend..Alexius Foster on an{}attempted murder charge.{} "They had been friends for quite a while -- but other than that I don't know what other kind of dealings they had right now," says Lt. Kip Hart with Tuscaloosa Metro Homicide.

{} As of late Monday afternoon, Police still don't know where{}Antonio Williams is located. But, believe he was shot twice by Foster.

{} Neighbors won't talk on camera, but say they heard several unusual rounds of gunfire come from here the day Williams went missing.

{}{}Foster has an extensive criminal record -- including another attempted murder charge from 2004 but it was dropped. He was questioned in his uncles homicide in June this year.{} Also, Tuscaloosa Police picked up Foster on a bond revocation out of Georgia earlier this month. But, Foster was released just before Williams disappeared.

"At that time they chose to recall the revocation and not extradite him for whatever reason and he was released from the county jail before he actually left," explained hart.

{}As for the attempted murder charge he faces in the Antonio Williams case "depending on when and how Mr. Williams is discovered or if he returns that charge could be changed."

{} Police say they have a motive in the case but are not releasing at this time.{} Since Williams has not been located, a judge has sealed all documents pertaining to Foster's arrest over the weekend.
