Chris Brown is facing more legal trouble over his assault against on-again off-again girlfriend Rihanna.
The Los Angeles district attorney says the singer did not perform the 180 hours of community service as part of his guilty plea to the 2009 assault.
Brown was allowed to perform the community service in his home state of Virginia, But prosecutors say his paperwork is at best "sloppy" and at worst "fraudulent reporting."
A motion was filed requesting Brown restart the community service in California.
A judge is expected to consider the motion at a probation hearing Wednesday.
