Mother beaten, two children strangled to death in Homewood triple homicide
The mother killed in last week's triple homicide in Homewood was beaten to death with a blunt object and her two children were murdered by strangulation, ABC 33/40 confirmed with ALACOURT Thursday.
A police affidavit filed in a Jefferson County court reveals that the children were "strangled by ligature", meaning some type of thread, chord or wire was used in killing the minors. The affidavit also states that the mother was beaten with an "unknown blunt instrument".
The three victims were found inside a Boulder Ridge Apartment at 110 Aspen Circle last Friday by the children's father.
29-year-old Ana Patricia Dominguez was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the homicides and charged with three counts of Capital Murder. She is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
