The Kansas mother injured in an accident at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport on March 21 has been released from the hospital.
Heather Bresette and two of her children were injured when a large flight information display fell on the family last week. Bresette's 10-year-old son, Luke, died from injuries sustained in the incident.
Bresette had been hospitalized at UAB Hospital as she recovered from two broken ankles and a broken pelvis. She was released this afternoon, ABC 33/40 has confirmed with a hospital spokesperson.
Bresette's two other sons, Sam, 8, and Tyler, 5, were treated at Children's of Alabama. The youngest of the two was released last Sunday after he was treated for a concussion while the older brother, who suffered a broken leg and nose, was released on Tuesday.
