UPDATE: No bond for woman charged in Gadsden girls' death

An Alabama judge refused to set bond for Joyce Garrard as she awaits trial in the death of her granddaughter, Savannah Hardin, who prosecutors say was run to death.{} Circuit Judge William Ogletree made the decision during a Tuesday morning bond hearing in Gadsden.{} Garrard is trying to get out of jail as she awaits trial.{} Six neighbors testified during the hearing that they would be fine with the woman's release from jail, where she's currently held with no bond.{} But the judge side with prosecutors, who had argued that bond is not allowed in capital cases under Alabama law.
