Harlem Shake video on a plane takes internet phenomenon to new level, literally

Videos of people doing the Harlem Shake have been popping up everywhere on the internet in recent weeks, and the latest rendition literally takes the viral phenomenon to a new level.

Members of the Colorado College Wasabi Ultimate Frisbee team managed to convince fellow passengers on a Frontier Airlines commercial flight to San Diego to join in on the making of the video, and the outcome of the joint effort was YouTube gold.

The video is not only garnering the attention of viral video addicts across the world, but it even peeked the interest of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA reportedly is investigating whether or not the airline violated any safety regulations during the making of the video, although Frontier has told KMGH, an ABC affiliate in Denver, Colo., that all safety precautions were followed and the seat belt sign was off.

As of Thursday night, the video has over 437,000 views, a number that is sure to go up.
