NTSB reports on two recent fatal plane crashes

Preliminary reports are out on two recent Alabama place crashes.

The first crash happened September 16th near Moontown Airport, a small landing strip in Madison County. 74 year old George Myers and 17 year old{} Christian Schmitt were both killed in the crash. The report from the NTSB does not list the exact cause of the crash, but it does say that three planes were flying in formation and started to barrel roll, but Myer's plan did not make the roll.

The second crash happened on September 17th in Cullman County. An NTSB report says that the plane crashed during a heavy rainstorm. The pilot issued several mayday calls before the plane went down.

Both the pilot and the passenger were killed.
