Obese type 2 diabetes patients may live longer than other patients

Some surprising news for overweight or obese people with type two diabetes. A study published in the Journal of American Medical Association says that obese people appear to live longer than normal body weight people when their disease was detected.

Why?{} Experts say normal weight people may be at a higher risk if their fitness status isn't good.{}{}

Doctors still encourage obese people to not abandon their weight loss efforts.
