OT Jackson flips commitment to Alabama
Dominick Jackson's change of heart worked in Nick Saban's favor.
The four-star offensive tackle went back on his commitment to UCLA and switched to Alabama.
"I talked to Coach Saban tonight," Jackson told TideSports. "It was shell shocking at first realizing he was going to be my head coach. I was just talking to an ordinary guy. I was just like talking to my head coach."
Jackson stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 312 pounds. He attended College of San Mateo in California last season.
It's uncertain if he'll graduate in December or next spring.
Jackson says he had scholarship offers from Florida, Texas A&M, LSU, Arkansas and almost every school in the Pac-12.
